We made the reservations for this trip back in the summer. I have had Iceland on the short list for trips for a long time, but I knew the trip would be expensive. Then, mom found a deal with Iceland Air and the planning began.
I haven't had much time to think about the trip with all the craziness in our country right now. But now, this is what I am looking forward to, a chance to reset my own head and have time to think about how to react to this new world.
Looking forward to snow, hot pools, Northern Lights(maybe), and a lot of time to read and think. It's a quick trip, but I am ready to get ready. Iceland....here we come!
